Meet Our Team

Nandisa Sekhesa 

Nandisa is a registered psychotherapist focused on providing individual counselling for employees. She specializes in interventions for work related stress, women's issues, and grief work.

Nandisa's experience spans across the public and private sector. She has worked in NGOs providing counselling services and designing youth coaching and development programmes.

She has also served as a psychologist overlooking partner training and programme development for Dlalanathi, a local NGO. She has a keen interest in academic research and corporate advisory around mental health issues. As such, she is a board member of Dlalanathi where she provides expert advice around mental health interventions.

Nandisa holds an Honours and Masters degree in Counselling Psychology (Cum laude) from the University of KwaZulu Natal. Nandisa is a qualified assessor and moderator.

Thabo Sekhesa, Phd 

Thabo is an HPCSA registered Educational Psychologist with 9 years of experience. Thabo was a lecturer in the discipline of psychology at the University of KwaZulu Natal for 10 years where he co-ordinated the Psychology Masters programme, taught on topics related to African psychology, learning and developmental disorders and psycho-educational assessments. During his time at UKZN Thabo supervised the research and practical training of over twenty-five Masters Educational psychology students. Thabo is a published author and researcher  specialising in black identity, educational and African psychology. Thabo is a qualified assessor and moderator.

Thabo has presented papers at the PsySSA National Conferences and the First International Congress on African Psychology. 

He holds a Masters degree in Educational Psychology and a PhD from the UKZN.

Nosihle Mntungwa 

Nosihle is an HPCSA registered Clinical Psychologist with 6 years of experience. Her work experience spans across the public and private sector, and is currently based at the Department of Correctional Services. She has a passion for human relationships, intrigued by the essence of being human. 


Nosihle has interests in integrated interactional approach, neuropsychology, working systemically for individual and family holistic well-being.


Nosihle holds an Honours (Cum laude) and Masters degree in Clinical  Psychology from the University of KwaZulu Natal.
